Bernard was very happy with the painting and kindly shared the story of his wonderful dogs.
Jack was a rescue dog from Blue Cross in Bromsgrove. He had been found in Ireland as a stray and he was brought over to Bromsgrove to be re-homed. He chose us! He was 2 – 3 years old , so he is now about 11. Despite his past he has turned out to be a very gentle, loving and happy dog. We got Rosie 2 years ago. She was also a rescue dog from Ireland. She is a completely different character from Jack. We actually got her to keep Jack company in his older years and now they are completely inseparable, although he is the boss. She is as mad as a box of frogs, and has the nickname DozyRosieMcPosie. We are so lucky to have such lovely dogs, and your painting captures their spirits and characters perfectly. Thank you Irina for the beautiful painting.
A lot of my friends have seen the picture and they all say Wow!!! how beautiful and how wonderfully you have painted Jack and Rosie! They are so true to life they expect them to move and bark and wag their tails.
